Garreta Kipp, DMQ, MAOM, MSOT, LAc, LMT

Garreta Kipp is the founder and director of Pathpoints to Wellness Healing Arts
and Retreat Center. Her goal is to provide a healing environment that fully
supports the health of Body, Mind and Spirit. To that end, her practice focuses
on all aspects of Oriental medicine: Acupuncture and Herbs, Food Therapy and
Nutrition, Chinese Massage, Medical Qigong, Exercise and Meditation. Patient
education is gently included in each treatment session, and patients are
encouraged to extend their health knowledge and skills through personalized
Health Coaching, as well as through participation in one of the many fun and
informative Classes and Gatherings offered by Pathpoints.
Garreta’s Oriental medicine education and credentials include a Masters of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine degree from the American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in Houston, Texas; certification as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine; and licensure through the Texas Medical Board as a Acupuncturist (AC00910) and a massage the therapist (MT 041405). She is trained and certified in several Acupuncture specialties, including Toyohari Japanese Style Acupuncture, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, and Acupuncture Sound and Color Therapy.
Garreta is also a certified Doctor of Medical Qigong, having completed 2000 hours of specialized study and clinical work based on curriculum developed by the International College of Medical Qigong. She has also earned a Diploma in Clinical Nutrition from the British Institute of Homeopathy and a Diploma in the Culinary Arts from the Art Institute of Houston. As an avid student committed to serving the best interests of her patients, she regularly attends advanced trainings in acupuncture, herbology, nutrition and other health-related subjects.
In addition to her advanced Oriental Medicine degree, Garreta also holds a Master of Science degree in Occupation Technology from the University of Houston, with a special focus on Training and Development. She puts her teaching and curriculum development abilities to use by designing individualized Health Coaching programs and group classes that are both informative and engaging.
